You need to handle tenant agreements at the following times:

1. New tenant moving in

2. At time of Renewal 


Please note that renewal agreements must be signed 2 months before they expire. 

There are some special types of renewal agreements:

1. Addendum / Extension agreement - if a tenant is vacating a month or two after expiry, there is no point signing a whole 11 month renewal agreement with them. At this time, we use addendum / extension agreements 


2. Amendment agreement - if a property has bachelor tenants and some are moving out and others moving in, we use an Amendment agreement. In addition to the agreement, this also generates an NOC where the old tenants agree they have no dues etc.
