Major and Minor issues are attached to every tenant agreement. This is referenced in Clause 10 of the agreement and explained in Annexure 1 - Refer Sample agreement: https://property-angel.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/44002534945
The difference between Major and Minor issues is explained in the table below.
Please also note the following:
- Minor issues are paid for by tenant and major issues by the owner
- Minor issues are paid by the owner ONLY if they existed pre-tenant move in and are reported within 7 days of move-in
- Major issues need to be reported by the tenant to Customer support immediately, so it doesn’t cause further damage to the property
- Major issues caused by negligence of the tenant will need to be paid for by the tenant
