Owners may ask you to serve vacate notice to tenants for various reasons:
(a) They are not happy with how tenant is maintaining the house after checking 6 month inspection report
(b) Tenant is not paying rent or association dues on time
(c) Owner needs the property for their own use.
(d) They want to increase the rent and tenant is not willing to pay the higher rent amount.
In all these cases, please see what you can do to try and retain the tenant. You might need to negotiate between the owner and tenant.
If you cannot retain, then please add a Vacate notice in the system in zoho:
Zoho-> Tenants -> Tenant Exit (add a new one).
PLease add all the fields correctly.
If owner is serving the notice, please set "NoticeBY" to "Owner"
As soon as you add this, an email will go to owner with you on copy.
It will also go to tenant with you on copy.
